Depending upon when you read it, this could be either my last coaching tip of 2024,
or my first coaching tip of 2025.
It may sound simplistic, but actually there are only 3 key steps you need to take in order to start the New Year confidently
Steps
Set an intention - Perhaps you intend to go on a diet, or get a new job, or learn a new skill, or stop an old, unwanted habit. An intention is no more complex than that
Make a plan - A plan that's not written down is just a dream, so write it down! For example, if your intention is to lose weight and get fit, your plan might target diet and exercise. So your plan could be as simple as writing in your diary the words "eat healthier and go to the gym", or as complex as making daily meal plans and specific daily workout routines. Or it could be anything in between.
Take action! - Actions are the key to confidence. By taking action on your plan you work towards your intention. With each action completed on your plan you get closer to your intention and derive some satisfaction. On completion of your plan, then your intention is fulfilled, and so too are you.
Having achieved this, you can then confidently repeat this process for a new intention
In summary; 1 - Set an intention - 2 - Make a plan - 3 - Take action - Repeat if needed
